After spending some years in the yachting world, a naval engineering degree and with entrepreneurial skills, in 2009, Joan Plana Palao decided it was time to found something special. Networking with like-minded individuals in the business world was always a natural environment for Joan and boats was his lifetime passion.

It all came together at the right time and fell into place perfectly when Joan teamed up with Irena Prager, a visionary for global markets with a creative mind who had successfully done business with people from different continents and who had psychology background which helped her better understand client’s needs and the best ways to serve them. WYG first started in Barcelona, Spain and two years we opened the partner company in Los Angeles, California so we could properly operate in Europe and USA. Since then WYG is present in also other key cities such as Miami, Ibiza, Madrid and Cannes.
